Here Are Some Things You Don’t Know about Thoughts and Beliefs

We're all surrounded by dozens of people each day and every one of those has thoughts and beliefs that govern not only their life, but also influence the reality of the people around them.

You might not realize it yet, but thoughts and beliefs are crucial to you in every area of your life. What you think and believe in affects every minute of every day you live and is extremely important in determining how successful, powerful or influential you'll be.

I know…

It might sound strange to you now, but I want you to think about what I just told you for a moment.

Have you noticed how sometimes you wake up and everything seems to be going great from the moment you open your eyes?

You get out of bed refreshed and relaxed. The weather is great and the day seems to be getting better by the minute.

You shower, get dressed, go to work…

…and even the things you have been doing every single day for years seem exciting. You don't know how but your boss tells you you're doing an great job, your lunch tastes great and your work buddies love you.

You go back home, sit down in front of the TV and it turns out your favorite movie's on. Your dinner is delicious and you can't stop thinking how much you love your family.

You're having a perfect day and you feel like you're the luckiest person in the world. 

Then, the next day…

…for some weird reason, everything falls apart. Your bus is late, so you're late to work, getting through your shift seems impossible and the whole world seems to be against you.

We've all had days like that.

Up until recently, we didn't know what causes us to have a great day on Tuesday and a terrible one on Wednesday. It was considered to be just luck.

Now, I want to tell you, as I did before, that contrary to what many people think, your thoughts and beliefs are what determines the quality of your life.

Let me explain.

I am sure you've heard of a phenomenon called the Law of Attraction. That law has been studied and talked about by countless experts, researched, scientists and enthusiasts all over the world.

The simplest way to define it is…

Like begets like.

It means that in your life you'll get exactly what you give. If you focus on the negative and make it the center of your thoughts and beliefs, you're going to be sending negative vibes out and will experience a great deal of sadness and bad luck in your life.

If, on the other hand, you focus on being happy and staying positive, you're going to experience amazing things in your life.

That's exactly why there are some people who just seem to be lucky all the time while others tend to be constantly miserable.

There's no luck.

See, the most successful people in this world understand how the Law of Attraction works and they take the time to learn how to utilize it in their lives.

It seems that no matter what happens to them, no matter how negative their circumstances are, they're able to smile, laugh and even joke about it.

Why?

Because they know that if they focus on feeling good now, their fate is going to change.

Except there's no fate.

There are just you, your thoughts and your beliefs.

So, how do you utilize your thoughts and beliefs to shape your reality?

First of all, you need to know that it's your subconscious that's doing most of the work. Your conscious mind is literally unable to focus on anything for more than a few seconds.

That's precisely why, if you really want a a thing or an event to manifest in your life, if you want to attract something, you have to make sure you make it part of your subconscious mind.

How do you do that?

It's actually extremely easy. Before I tell you how to go about it, though, let me ask you a question.

Have you ever noticed how if you really want something, you just can't stop thinking about it?

Especially if what you desire is accessible to you with just a little effort.

For example, let's say you've been eyeballing a car for some time and you finally figured out a way to get it. Maybe you got a second job or took on an extra project. Maybe you decided do a little consulting or help your neighbors with some house remodeling…

Doesn't matter.

You just know you're going to get that car and nothing is going to stop you. You've been wanting it for some time now and, oddly enough, you want it so badly, that even if you try to start thinking or focusing on something else…

…you simply can't.

It's always at the back of your mind. It's become part of your subconscious.

Now, it's extremely important to realize that in order for that to happen, that thought (in our case, the thought of getting that new car) needs to be charged with an emotion, and the reason why that's important is for the thought to become a belief.

Now, you've been wanting that car for quite some time, and you've probably even imagined yourself driving it. You've pictured your happiness in your head and actually saw how proud you're going to look when you can finally drive it.

You know it's going to happen. That belief has been created because you've attached an emotion (pride, joy, happiness) to the idea of having that car.

Now, there's something else…

Once an emotional charge is attached to a thought, and that thought becomes a belief, it's pretty much impossible to change it quickly.

That belief is part of you, it becomes sort of an obsession, and at that point your mind is actively working with the Universe to give you what you want.

An interesting thing to keep in mind is that the more emotion you attach to a thought or an idea, the stronger the belief that gets produced is, and the more effect the Law of Attraction is going to have in your life.

Let me give you an example.

Let's say you've decided you're going to make an additional $75,000 on top of your regular salary.

You've managed to become emotionally connected to the idea (you imagined what it's going to be like to have that money and you're convinced you're going to be able to get it. You feel as if you actually already have it.)

If you really do strongly believe you're going to realize your dream, and your faith is pretty much unshaken, the Law of Attraction will have a great deal of influence on your life. If, on the other hand, you're really skeptical and fearful that you're not going to get it…

…you'll attract those negative emotions and will never see your goal come to fruition.

Again…

…your thoughts and beliefs are extremely powerful. Probably much more powerful than you realize.

As an example, I want you to think about a popular phrase used by our society. Have you ever heard about someone worrying themselves sick?

You think it's just a stupid one-liner?

Well, let me tell you, I actually witnessed it in action right in my own family. Some time ago, a relative of mine got really worried he was going to die. He thought he was terminally ill, and although the doctors couldn't find anything after excessive tests and check-ups, he was actually dying.

His vitals got weaker every day. His motivation to live went way down.

He was getting ready to leave this world.

I have to say, it was terrible to watch him. He just laid there withering away. He became really thin and his hair got completely gray. His children came to see him to say good bye to him…

…then, one day, he decided he was going to get up. It came completely out of nowhere and was a complete shock to everyone that was aware of his situation.

He just got up and started living again.

Long story short, it's been about 7 years since he got off his death bed and he's still a happy, healthy man.

He almost died of worry.

If that doesn't prove how incredibly powerful your thoughts are, I don't know what will.

Thoughts aren't enough, though.

He actually believed he was going to die. He was emotionally attached to the idea of dying, he saw himself dead, and…

…he was dying.

So, you really can worry yourself sick or you can believe your way to health.

You have the power to choose here, and all you need to do is focus your thoughts, your emotions and your actions on what you want to achieve.

Which actually brings me very nicely to my next point.

It takes action.

See, it's not enough to just sit there and think about things waiting for them to happen. You need to take action to achieve what you want.

Fortunately, actions become very natural once you're sufficiently emotional about what you want.

Just to give you another, very quick example, let me talk to you again about that car we've mentioned before

Do you think if you really want it and actually figure out a way to get it, you're just going to sit there and think about it?

Of course not.

If you're like most people you're going to work your butt off trying to get it.

You're going to come up with a detailed, step by step plan that will require effort, time and a whole lot of action.

When the plan is set up and everything is ready for you to start putting in the effort, the Universe is going to help you out by putting the right type of people, situations and events in your path.

Those situations won't be extraordinary, but if you notice them and take advantage of them as they happen, they'll get you closer and closer to getting your goal realized.

For example, you might meet someone who'll offer you a second job. Maybe your boss will give you a lucrative project to manage that will put a nice chunk of change in your pocket. Maybe, if you're a real estate broker, you'll be able to sell a peace of real estate that will earn you some good commissions.

Right now you don't know what'll happen, but something will happen to make it possible for you to get that car.

I've witnessed it many times in my life and that's just how it works.

Don't dream too much.

Now, the last thing I want to tell you about is that for this to work, your beliefs have to be real. In other words, you actually need to believe you're going to get what you desire.

Now, it's understandable that not everything is believable to you at this point.

You might have a hard time believing you're going to be able to make $2,000,000 next year, but maybe a modest $100,000 is reasonable.

So…

If you have a huge goal in mind and you can't get yourself to believe you'll get it, all you need to do is divide it into smaller goals you actually can believe.

In other words, don't think about the 2 million if that's too much. Instead, focus on the hundred thousand and then work to get that.

When you do, your belief will grow and you'll be able to get more.

The Law of Attraction is a wonderful thing and it works. I know it because I've seen I work in my life. I also know it'll work in yours.

All you need to do is take what I told you and put it into practice.

It's simple and wonderfully powerful, so…

…get off the couch and start shaping your reality with your thoughts and beliefs.
